Kenseth Promotes Driver Safety
Safety has become a major focus on the tracks of the NASCAR circuit. Current Winston Cup point’s leader Matt Kenseth is doing his part to promote safety off the track.
Kenseth has teamed up with Smirnoff Ice to begin a series of public service announcements to educate the public on the responsible use of alcohol. Promoting the message, Kenseth ran a special Smirnoff Triple Black paint scheme at the Lowes Motor Speedway for the running of The Winston, NASCAR’s equivalent to an all- star event. In conjunction with the sponsorship, television advertising promoting the drink intelligently message will run that featuring the new car and it’s driver.
Beth Davies, Director of Brand Public Relations believes that with NASCAR’s popularity it creates an ideal partnership to promote the company’s message.

perfect opportunity to promote responsible consumption of our brands."
The commercials and race sponsorship are timed in conjunction with the Memorial Day holiday.
