Two time Winston Cup Champion Ned Jarrett was released from Frye Regional Medical in Newton North Carolina on Friday May, 24th.

Jarrett was admitted to the facility Thursday for a Heart Catheterization.

The elder Jarrett was home when he experienced a shortness of breath, and drove himself to the offices of the Hickory Cardiology Associates, and upon examination, Dr Derek, Luney MD sent the former champion to the hospital after discovering a ninety five percent blockage to an artery.

Jarrett contacted the media center at Lowes Motor Speedway to dispel the rumors of the severity of his condition.
