So do you think Tony Stewart jumped the restart? You had to be blind not to! He wasn't even around the turn before he was flat out running away from the field. And then in the winner's circle he goes and admits he did! What was he doing in the winner's circle then?

Where was the black flag? Why wasn't Tony put to the back of the lead lap cars at the finish? Where was the stop and go penalty? Why wasn't the start waved off? Why was the win allowed? I am so confused.

A few years back Rusty Wallace was given a stop and go penalty on a restart when he was the leader that went before he should have. Afterwards, Rusty spoke his mind about NASCAR's decision to penalize him. He was not happy. He was then fined for his words, in which he paid with pennies. But the decision was made and it stuck. Rusty who had the commanding car did not win. So, why wasn't Tony Stewart penalized? Was NASCAR not afraid to penalize Rusty but apprehensive to go after Tony for a 2nd time in as many weeks? Where is the consistency in their decisions?

What Tony did last week at the Brickyard was nothing short of being a sore loser. Fine example he was. The sympathy he is receiving over it is ridiculous. Lets all go out and punch somebody when we are not happy with events in our lives.

He lost the race. So did 41 others. What if they all decided to go out and punch somebody because they didn't win? There would be chaos and mayhem! NASCAR would have anarchy on their hands.

Yes, he ran away. Yes, it probably meant he didn't want his picture taken. He had no problem having his picture taken when he won the pole. He had no problem being interviewed when he was fast in practice. In the adult world, aren't we all supposed to accept the good with the bad? It is a sign of maturity and obviously Tony has not matured yet. Anger management, yes he needs it. Sympathy, no way!

Was Tony Stewart allowed to jump the restart because there was only one lap left? After having such a strong car all race long, was Tony that worried about being passed on the final lap? No positions changed in the top 10, why couldn't he start where he was supposed to start? Why must he be at the center of controversy each race weekend? He probably would have won, but now I don't think he deserves the win.

What kind of message does this send? You can break the rules sometimes? Is there a second rule book that lets the drivers know when it is okay to break the rules in the first one? You don't have to follow the normal rules in one-lap shootouts? Only on road courses? What was the purpose of the cone on the rail? Was it for all starts except the last one? Start within a mile of here?

What about the red flag with three to go? Had a problem with it? How can anyone compare a red flag situation at Watkins Glen to a red flag with 3 to go at Daytona? This is ludicrous! And does the media really try to stir the fans up or what? The only thing the two situations had in common was the amount of laps left.

As a fan who has been at Daytona for many races, I knew it was not possible to red flag the event in July. I had seen if before where they tried the one lap shoot out. It was a disaster. There was a big wreck in turn 3 that took out a good portion of the cars. That was the result of that experiment. But NASCAR at least tried it. Doing that again this year would have proved they don't learn from past mistakes. They did, so they didn't. Those people on the backstretch were not fans of our drivers. They were just drunk.

Was that it, Tony was mad they red flagged the event? Oh no! We all know they did it on purpose because he was leading, right? They never red flagged an event before, right? Other drivers have gotten to jump the start after a red flag, right? It's in that second rule book, right? Maybe they were just afraid he might get mad. After all, has he started taking those anger management classes yet?

Did NASCAR reward Tony this week by letting him keep the win? He certainly shouldn't have won with that start on that last lap. But who knows, next week at Michigan, another leader may do the same thing and he will get penalized.

This week, Tony got a gift. For what, I don't know. He has been getting loads of sympathy and for what I haven't figured out yet. I have been confused since that last restart. I think Ryan Newman is the true winner of the Sirius Satellite Radio @ the Glen. Tony Stewart's finish should have been last on the lead lap.
