FANTASY RACING ONLINE CHALLENGE SUMMARY
Overview
The Fantasy Racing Online Challenge is a simple
way to enjoy watching your favorite drivers compete for "fantasy points"
by virtue of how they place in a given race. Unlike other "Fantasy-style"
contests, we at FantasyRacingOnline.com have developed a unique contest
format with a simplified scoring system. We feel more Nascar Fans
(both avid and modest fans) are more apt to participate in something that
is simple, straightforward, and easy to follow...
Object
Simple: You have $1,000,000 to build a team of ANY
FIVE drivers that you think will place in the TOP TEN.
Contest places will be based on the following:
-
Number of drivers to place in the top 10. To receive credit, all your driver must do is place in the Top Ten.
-
The number of points based on driver finish places.
-
You will earn points on HOW YOUR DRIVERS FINISH. (Each finishing place from 1 to 10 will have a corresponding point value).
-
You will be required to stay within a $1 Million "Fantasy" Salary Cap. Keep in mind that using the "lowest salary cap" possible may earn you a higher ranking (see scoring below).
-
To assure that there are individual winners in the weekly races, we have incorporated the following Tiebreaker system which will be used in the event of ties.
TIEBREAKERS (in this order)
- 1. Closest to the Actual number of "Lead Changes" during the Race.
- 2. Closest to the Actual number of "Cautions" during the Race.
- 3. Whoever picked first (or the actual time your final list of drivers was compiled).

How To Play
Each owner will have $1 million in fantasy money
to select 5 drivers for each challenge. These 5 drivers will constitute
his/her racing team and will be used for that particular challenge. Drivers
are valued according to their current rank. The values of all drivers are
subject to change after each race (e.g. drivers may be re-ranked after
the conclusion of a race). This is solely at the discretion of 1800esports.com.
Simply build a team of ANY five drivers that you
think will PLACE in the top ten. To receive credit, your driver must place
in the Top Ten. Each driver will have a unique salary value (code)
which participants will be required to stay within a "fantasy" salary cap.
Each race you will be assigned a $1,000,000 budget used as your salary
cap. Each race, you will LOGIN
to the player login area. After login you will find a list of all drivers
including their associated salary cap value and calculates the values real-time
to assist you in your building your 5 driver racing team...CLICK
HERE for the Official Rules.
FANTASY DRIVERS
Each team owner must draft 5 drivers without
exceeding their $1 million salary cap. However, an owner is not required
to spend all of his/her $1 million during the initial draft. If a participant
does not use the full salary cap, our second tie-breaker (lowest salary
cap used) may come into play. This is on a race-by-race basis.

Throughout the Challenge, the dollar values of
each driver may increase or decrease based upon his actual results during
the remainder of the Nascar Challenge Season. You may select a completely
new racing team each race or keep your same team as long as you stay within
your salary cap of $1 Million. You may change your selections as
much as you like until the deadline. After the deadline you will not be
able to change your selections - until your next race.
Contest Structure and Point Scoring
The structure of each Challenge is based 1) on
your how many of your 5 drivers finish in the top 10, 2) the accumulated
points based on the place your driver finishes, and 3) the lowest salary
cap used.
