The NASCAR Cup Series is at Circuit of the Americas this weekend for the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix. NASCAR has never ran at this 20-turn road course before, so NASCAR Fantasy players are really relying on other road course data this weekend, but there’s always that unknown variable of how this race will actually play out. Due to qualifying being the morning of the race, we will just get right to the algorithm predicted finishing order and back to normal posting next week.

How the algorithm works: There are quite a few statistics that go into the Power Index formula, including recent performance both overall and at this week’s track specifically, similar track performance, projected strength of the car, practice speeds (when applicable), starting position, and a few other variables.
