There’s plenty at stake this weekend at Kansas Speedway, as the Hollywood Casino 400 is the final race before the Playoff field is cut to just four drivers. Now, track position hasn’t been super important on the 1.5-mile tracks this year, but obviously it’s better to start up front and have a good pit stall than it is to not. Looking at all of the 1.5-mile races this season, only Brad Keselowski in the first Kansas race and Kurt Busch in the Kentucky race won from a top 5 starting spot, and the average starting position of the winner over the eight races on this track type in 2019 is 11.1.

The starting positions below are final and will not change.
