Starting Lineup for Martinsville (Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500)

The NASCAR Cup Series invades Martinsville Speedway this weekend for the Blu-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500. This will be the second short track in a row, as Martinsville is also a half-mile track like Bristol, and the second flat track race of the season. This weekend’s is also the first scheduled Saturday night race of the season, and we won’t see one of these again until the second Daytona race in late August. As of Wednesday morning, there is some rain in the forecast for Martinsville on Saturday night, but hopefully that clears up in time for the race.
